VIXX New MV 'Hyde' Receives R Rating

VIXX is one of the newest breed in K-pop idols, as they portray a more dark and gothic image. all members were featured in Mnet's reality show "Mydol" and grabbed internet users attention with their strong personalities.

Recently they released their music video entitled, "Hyde," which was rated as "R" by the Korean Media Board. The music video contained a theme that was devastating to see due to horrified settings, creepy crawling creatures and even the group's make-up. According to VIXX's agency, Jellyfish Entertainment, they stated there was no re-editing for the music video and it will stay as it is and will be released as rated-R to the public. Even though they are a little upset about the review and it was deemed for detestable reason, Jellyfish Entertainment has a strong stand for the group's MV because of the story that VIXX wanted to express  the public.

The music video has the concept of "Jekyll and Hyde" and portrays how men felt hurt and transformed into demons. It also shows both Yin and Yang (the angelic and devilish side). Jellyfish Entertainment also was satisfied with the choreography that was added to nourish the substance of the music video.
I've also watch their video and I may say it was a hell of a performance. Although the setting and features of the music video may creep someone who would watch it, it's not applicable for young k-pop lovers. Overall verdict, I love it. Nicely done, especially the rhythm of the song.
