Shin Min Ah Will Stick By Boyfriend Kim Woo Bin As He Undergoes Cancer Treatment

It seems like a scene straight from a drama but Shin Min Ah is not going anywhere and is sticking right by her man as he goes through a trying time. The "Tomorrow With You" star made a short but firm statement after the shocking news that "The Heirs" actor Kim Woo Bin was diagnosed with nasapharygeal cancer.

Based on a report by Soompi, Shin Min Ah made her statement through her agency. "I am helping so that Kim Woo Bin can undergo his treatment well," she said.

It came as a shock to the entertainment industry when it was reported that the 27-year-old actor was diagnosed with the rare form of throat cancer.  It was confirmed via a statement of Sidus HQ, Kim Woo Bin's agency that the cancer was detected when the actor went for a check up because he was feeling unwell.

According to his agency, Kim Woo Bin wanted the news to come straight from official sources since this will cause many of his supporters to worry. However, they have assured that the cancer was diagnosed during its early stages and that the actor will immediately undergo drug and radiation therapy to address his condition, Popcrush reported.

"He plans on focusing on his treatment for now before greeting you with a recovered, healthy image, so please wish for his speedy convalescence," Sidus HQ reported about Kim Woo Bin's condition. They also said that they are currently rearranging his previously laid out schedule to prioritize his treatment.

Kim Woo Bin was supposed to start filming for the movie "Wiretap" this July but the company has announced that it will be delaying the filming to accommodate the actor's treatment. "Wiretap" is an upcoming film by "The Thieves" and "Assassination" director Choi Dong Hoon, which will also star Lee Jung Jae.
