In the huge and diverse K-pop world, the competition between entertainment agencies started to become more crucial, since they are all equally striving to produce talented and competent idols. With this, it is indeed unquestionable on why the genre of Korean pop has already been accepted globally, especially in the Western countries, since the original fans mostly came from the South East Asian countries, including the Philippines.

Because of that, the Philippines has always been a stop for every concert or tour for most of the Korean sensations since concert organizing companies receive a high volume of requests from a lot of fans and most of these are the EXO-Ls, the fandom of the highly-demanded boy group of SM Entertainment-EXO.

Ever since SM Entertainment showcased a boy group last 2012 called "EXO", a lot of fans from all over the world, especially in the Philippines, were whipped over them because of their amazing vocals, drool-worthy visuals, and catchy choreography. Because of that, the Philippines undoubtedly became one of the target countries for most of their tours, or what they called the EXO Planet.

Out of the 4 tour EXO conducted since their debut, 3 of it happened in the Philippines, considering that it is a high demand from the Filipino EXO-Ls. The very first time they went here for a solo concert is the EXO Planet 2: The Exo'luxion, which was held last January 2016. As expected, there are many fans that went to the ticket selling in December 2015, so it has been quickly become sold out after 3 hours.

However, there are still EXO fans that still didn't have the chance to buy tickets, so SM, fortunately, announced the 2nd-day concert in the Philippines, and they were the first K-pop artists to let that happen in the country.

Same with their first solo tour in the Philippines, the second and third EXO Planet also became a hit and got sold out after a few hours.

Last May 2019, SM Entertainment already announced the details of EXO Planet 5: EXplOration that will be happening in KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, South Korea. That's why EXO-Ls hyped up and continuously hope that their respective countries will also be included in the said tour.

Filipino EXO-Ls can't get enough of it, so they keep on tweeting the PULP's COO, Happee Sy since they are the partnered company for the previous EXO concerts here. Most of them asked on when is the possible date of their 4th concert here and she replied with "Ber month". 

Of course, Filipino EXO-Ls were happy about it since they already have some validation and guarantee regarding their idols' concert in the Philippines.
