TMI's recent episode featured idols who had overcome diseases, and among these roster of celebrities was Choi Yena from the girl group IZ*ONE.

Fortunately, she has recovered entirely from it, thanks to her loving parents' efforts. As her way to express her heartfelt gratitude to her mom and dad, she made Kimbap and gave it to them. And when her father finally took a bite, he said, "Out of all the Kimbap I've had in my life, this one touches my heart the most." This exact moment moved the hearts of the Mnet's show's many viewers.

Earlier, Yena's group IZ*ONE has received success upon the release of their Japanese album, accumulating 216,000 cumulative sales from the lead track Buenos Aires. The song charted at the Oricon Daily Single Charts, and also topped the weekly chart from June 24 to 30.

The girl group's first Japanese single, Suki to Iwasetai, was also a massive success for garnering more than 190,000 sales on its release. Further, it is certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

IZ*ONE was launched through the survival reality program Produce 48. The group was recently mentioned as the new top artist by Oricon in terms of music sales. The 12-piece outfit has been proving to be an ace group since December 14, 2018, having amassed JP¥510 million music sales.

The girl group commenced their Japanese activities in February this year with their hit song Suko to Iwasetai. In June, 17,000 a total of fans attended IZ*ONE's concert in Seoul. They also held successful shows in Taiwan and Thailand.

IZ*ONE has been touring Japan since August, which will run until September. 

Meanwhile, the group released another music video teaser for their forthcoming Japanese single, titled Vampire. In the trailer, each of the 12 members transforms into a beautiful aforementioned being as they flaunt their beauty and wicked facial expressions. Further, the teaser hints at the upcoming song's chorus and choreography.

As of press time, the second teaser already gained 312,916 views on YouTube. Multiple positive remarks also flooded the comments field.

A fan was quoted saying, "Beautiful vampires, esp Sakura, Chaewon and Minju. I mean all the girls are pretty but in this trailer, the three stand out and simply gorgeous."

Another one wrote, "Sakura is the definition of Vampire of here. Finally, she can be the center!!! This is gonna be a blast!!! Can't wait for the mv."
