Chungha got I.O.I fans excited for the group's upcoming comeback by giving a glimpse of herself in a recording studio along with her fellow members!

Fans who have seen the photos were all surprised to spot the girls together after a long time, with some of them commenting, "Tell me this is for I.O.I comeback," "Finally! I've waited for so long for this," "I'm so excited!" "These pictures put a smile on my face," "It's about time!" "OMG! I can't wait for December!"

I.O.I is currently making preparations for their highly anticipated reunion in December. Although the girl group's return was supposed to be in October, I.O.I announced earlier this week that their comeback had been changed from October to December.

A source from I.O.I remarked, "The group will be having changes in the return date so as to make sure that their album will be of the highest quality. At this stage, we are talking about the exact date."

Alongside the date change, it is believed that eleven members could be involved instead of the nine that was confirmed last July to participate in this comeback.

On July 1, Studio Blu issued that members Kim Sejeong, Chungha, Kim Doyeon, Choi Yoojung, Kang Mina, Kim Sohye, Jung Chaeyeon, Im Nayoung, and Zhou Jieqiong (Kyulkung) will be meeting the fans once again under the name I.O.I. Jeon Somi and Yoo Yeonjung, on the other hand, would not be able to join them.

Considering the group's delayed comeback, it could probably be because of making an I.O.I comeback of eleven members, though there is no confirmation yet from the group's management company and the members.

The project girl group debuted through Mnet's reality show "Produce 101" in 2016 and was active until January 2017. After disbandment, the members went back to their agencies, and some of them debuted as a member of a new girl group and others become solo artists, thus focusing on their separate activities for more than two years until their reunion was announced by Studio Blu last July.

Meanwhile, ahead of I.O.I's return, Chungha and Kyulking participated in KBS 2TV's "Battle Trip" and their episode will be broadcasted sometime this September.
