CAA Partnered with SM Entertainment to Promote Kpop Groups Such as SuperM, EXO, NCT 127, and More

After the success of Korean boy band SuperM in the US, their management company, SM Entertainment, announced that it has signed with CAA to represents all their homegrown Kpop groups in all areas abroad. SM Entertainment agency was founded in 1995 by Soo-Man Lee, they are known for Kpop roster also includes EXO, NCT 127, Girls' Generation, Super Junior, and Red Velvet. 

SM's CEO Lee Soo-Man stated in an interview that "It is a great pleasure working together with the largest entertainment and sports agency in the U.S. We believe that SuperM and NCT 127 will expand further to the global market together with CAA. Furthermore, this contract is only the beginning of our collaborations. As an executive producer, I am hoping to contribute to our forthcoming global entertainment business by providing new visions and by creating more meaningful content." 

Creative Artists Agency LLC or CAA is an American talent and sports agency based in Los Angeles, California. It is regarded as a dominant and influential company in the talent agency business and manages numerous clients. CAA which also reps Beyonce, Ariana Grande and Mariah Carey. Both agency had already a strong working relationship. CAA helped NCT 127's U.S. activities on programs such as "The Late Late Show with James Corden." They also collaborated with SM for SuperM's North American tour, which will start on November 11 in Fort Worth, Texas.

CAA president Richard Lovett said "Seeing the Kpop Powerhouse SM Entertainment show an amazing experience with the global market, Soo-Man Lee and his talented team have an incredible eye for high energy and charismatic talent. We are honored and excited to be working with the incredible the team to support the growth of what is already a huge fan base around the world."

CAA and SM Entertainment's will co-work for other endeavors of such great talents, which include lifestyle brands, live events and advertising.
