Fans and netizens were delighted by the news report from Ilgan Sports that member of K-pop group f(x) Krystal and "Tale of Nokdu" star Jang Dong Yoon will be going to play the lead roles for upcoming OCN military drama "Search."
This is going to become Krystal's first activity of the year after a long hiatus from the entertainment world, due to their group's uncertain comeback, with the members not renewing with SM Entertainment anymore as well. Due to this, it is not clear whether or how are they going to have a group activity, especially with their activities that don't match up.
The drama "Search" will revolve around the story of two people who will meet in a search party in the battle of monstrous creatures. It has also been reported that f(x) idol Krystal will be going to play the role of Song Ye Rim, an elite officer in the Army, with a high level of fighting spirit as well as the will to get and do anything she wants.
She is going to play as a former member of the Reserve Officer's Training Corps and will be an operation officer under the direct control by the western military headquarters. Despite his great achievements and boosting strength and knowledge, she has a secret that she has been keeping behind her birth.
On the other hand, Jang Dong Yoon will play the role of Goo Dong-Jin, who is a military dog handler, his times from the military is only a few for his discharge date is too close not until he gets into the search party, and even encountered the monstrous creature himself on a demilitarized area.
