On Monday, March 30, EXO's leader's first-ever solo mini-album, titled "Self-Portrait," was officially released and it astonishingly claimed huge sales and broke records. As of press time, it has sold around 163,000 copies and has been cited as the highest in terms of first-day sales in 2020 among male solo artists.
The album also clinched the no. 1 spots on iTunes in 50 countries and counting, even surpassing EXO's 5th album "Don't Mess Up My Tempo" that peaked in 48 countries.
