ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo is not only the top male K-pop idol who gained the most followers in Feb., and he is overall the K-pop act who gained the most followers that month in general.

In Feb., Cha Eun Woo gained 1,985,536 new followers. That is nearly two million! By the end of the month, Cha Eun Woo's follower count was reported to be 17,820,941. As of press time, Cha Eun Woo has 18.3 million followers.

Cha Eun Woo has always been a popular idol on the platform. Back in 2019, K-Pop Radar named Cha Eun Woo as the "Hot Instagrammer - Male" for the year.

Overall, the idol is extremely popular. In 2018, GQ Korea named Cha Eun Woo as their "Man of the Year."

In 2019, Cha Eun Woo ranked number 7 on the most accumulated points on the male brand ranking reputation list with 44,178,474 points.

Similar to Cha Eun Woo, BTS is not only the male K-pop group that gained the most Instagram followers in Feb., but they are also the K-pop group that gained the most on the platform in that month.

In Feb., BTS gained 1,119,490 new followers, equaling their final Instagram tally for the month at 37,953,396.

As of the time of writing, BTS has 38.6 million Instagram followers.

BTS is currently the most followed K-pop group on the platform. Unlike most K-pop groups, BTS does not use their Instagram account to post daily updates, selfies, and group photos. Instead, it is used solely for teasers and announcements.
