ATEEZ San Tests Positive for COVID-19, All Members to Halt Activities
On the night of July 9 KST, ATEEZ's label, KQ Entertainment, announced through the group's official fan cafe the news that fellow member, San, was notified in the afternoon that he had tested positive for COVID-19 and that he is asymptomatic
On July 8, KQ Entertainment announced that the ATEEZ members had tested negative for COVID-19 and that there wasn't a case of a member coming in close contact with a confirmed positive case, so they lifted their preemptive self-quarantine and resumed the group's schedule.
The group's preemptive testing came following the news that an outsourced staff member ATEEZ had worked with for a promotional activity had tested positive for COVID-19 back on July 6.

Before the members' schedules on July 9, all members had conducted another COVID-19 antigen test in preparation for the group's future schedules. As a result, San was notified that he is COVID-19 positive and asymptomatic, while members Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, Wooyoung, and Jonho had tested negative.
Following the news, the group's label has halted their ongoing and upcoming activities to undergo self-quarantine. "As of this time, ATEEZ will immediately be suspending all schedules, and all of the ATEEZ members and related staff will actively follow the instructions and procedures set by the health authorities," KQ Entertainment announced.
"Once again, we apologize for causing concern to the fans, and we will do our best to ensure San's speedy recovery. Thank you," ended the label.

ATEEZ Achieves Double Platinum From Gaon Charts
In 2018, the Korea Music Content Industry Association implemented a certification system for online streaming, song downloads, and album sales.
On July 8, Gaon Chart had released the latest batch of artists who had received an official certification. According to the certification system, those who have attained a cumulative of 250,000 sales receives a "platinum certification," while those who have reached a cumulative of a million copies or more receives a certified "million certification."
According to Gaon Chart, ATEEZ had achieved a "double platinum" with their sixth extended play, "ZERO: FEVER Part.2," having surpassed 500,000 album sales.
"ZERO: FEVER Part.2" was released earlier this year on March 1 and consisted of seven tracks, including the album's title track "Fireworks (I'm The One)," "The Leaders," "Time of Love," "Take Me Home," "Celebrate," the English version of "Take Me Home," and the heat-topping version of "I'm The One."
In particular, both ATEEZ members Hongjoong and Mingi had participated in all of the song's lyrics composition.
