Japanese Magazine Criticized for Including Kim Garam in LE SSERAFIM's Latest Pictorial
Recently on June 13, Japanese fashion and lifestyle magazine Non-no unveiled the cover of their August 2022 issue, which features HYBE and Source Music's rookie girl group, LE SSERAFIM, on the front pages.
In the photos shared by Non-no, the members of LE SSERAFIM can be seen looking pretty in blue, along with simple hair and makeup.
After it was revealed that LE SSERAFIM will be gracing the covers of their August edition, the "FEARLESS" singers have been drawing attention from both fans and netizens on social media.

However, there are mixed reactions to LE SSERAFIM's Non-no cover. Fans pointed out that Kim Garam, who is currently on indefinite hiatus after being embroiled in a school bullying controversy, was also part of the pictorial.
According to reports, LE SSERAFIM's Non-no pictorial was taken before Source Music announced Kim Garam's hiatus from group promotions and activities, hence, why she was included in this pictorial.
LE SSERAFIM's Non-no pictorial for the August 2022 issue is said to contain ten pages covering the rookie girl group. So it is likely that more photos of Kim Garam will be in the magazine.

Following the pre-release of the pictorial, many netizens expressed their dissatisfaction with the group's latest magazine appearance due to Kim Garam's participation.
Many went to criticize the magazine for not editing out the young idol given her hiatus status and recent controversies. Source Music also drew flak for allowing the magazine to release a pictorial featuring six members and for continuing to defend her despite her alleged past.
Some have also expressed that the magazine could have re-taken LE SSERAFIM's photos to adjust it to five members instead of six.

LE SSERAFIM Kim Garam on Hiatus
Following LE SSERAFIM's debut back in May, Kim Garam has been swept in numerous allegations regarding school bullying, to which Source Music quickly denied.

However, despite Source Music refuting the claims, more alleged former classmates of Kim Garam stepped up to recall the idol's school bullying past.
With the onslaught of new evidences and claims being made against the idol, Source Music announced on May 20 that Kim Garam would be going on a temporary hiatus. LE SSERAFIM is now promoting as a five-member group in the meantime.
