G-Dragon made his debut as a member of YG Entertainment's legendary boy group BIGBANG back in August 2006. With his debut, G-Dragon became one of the most successful K-pop idols and producers in the industry. This is not only for his incredible vocal and rap skills but also for his songwriting. With his status as a leader in K-pop, many are always hoping to know more about G-Dragon's personal life.

BIGBANG G-Dragon Dating Rumor With Girls' Generation Taeyeon
In 2015, BIGBANG leader G-Dragon became linked to Girls' Generation member Taeyeon. The two became entangled in a dating rumor after netizens gathered "evidence" of their alleged romantic relationship. And as they are one of the top idols in the industry, the dating rumor between the two immediately blew up.
The dating rumor came to be after it was claimed that there was a secret couple among the top idols in the industry, as well as having a series of social media posts that were similar to each other.

After the claim was made online, fans began compiling several photos of G-Dragon and Taeyeon that were shared on their respective social media accounts, which they believe were indirect hints to their alleged relationship.
Some of the photos fans deemed as "evidence" included G-Dragon and Taeyeon's individual selfies, which made use of the same filter and were posted within a few hours of each other.

Others also mentioned how Taeyeon had a smiley face on her nail polish design in the photo above. Many speculated that it might be linked to several of G-Dragon's tattoos, some being a smiley face.

However, shortly after his dating rumor with Taeyeon, he was then linked to Japanese model and actress Nana Komatsu.
G-Dragon and Taeyeon's respective agencies also released a statement regarding the two idols' dating rumors.
Taeyeon's agency firmly denied the rumors, with SM Entertainment stating, "[The dating rumors] are groundless talk. It is like a fiction novel. It is not worth mentioning."

As for G-Dragon, his agency YG Entertainment simply said, "We have nothing to say officially."
Thus, the dating rumors between G-Dragon and Taeyeon were quickly shut down and proved they were never in a relationship.

As of now, the BIGBANG member is currently single as he is not dating anyone publicly. However, he has been involved in numerous dating rumors through the years.
Some celebrities he has been romantically linked with include BLACKPINK Jennie, former Wonder Girls Sohee, Sandara Park, BoA, former After School Jooyeon, the late Goo Hara, the late Sulli, Nana Komatsu, and Kiko Mizuhara.
