The Korean news outlet shared that they had witnessed the two K-pop idols meet secretly, such as having dates at home. They also said that Jennie was able to use the private elevator for G-Dragon's penthouse without having to verify her identity.

Dispatch further reported that Jennie's normal everyday schedule was to go to G-Dragon's home once her activities for the day were completed. She would then return to her house and then repeat the same schedule the following day.

However, this past May, it was speculated that G-Dragon and Jennie have broken up, as it was discovered that the BIGBANG member's second Instagram account, @peaceminusone, no longer follows Jennie's Instagram accounts, @jennierubyjane and @lesyeuxdenini, but still follows the other three BLACKPINK members.

But then, recently, G-Dragon made headlines because of his Instagram story, which appears to reveal he has a "new girlfriend."

On Aug. 12, the BIGBANG member updated his Instagram account, @xxxibgdrgn, with multiple Instagram stories. Among the stories, the one that seems to show he was on a phone call with someone gained the most attention.

In the Instagram story, it can be seen that the contact name of the person G-Dragon was talking to is "My Love." He also added a black heart that says "+82 end call."

In the past few days, BIGBANG's leader has been posting pictures and videos that are believed to suggest he's in a relationship. For instance, he included a photo of two hearts drawn in the sand in his Instagram post made on Aug. 12.

With his recent Instagram story and previous posts, reactions about him being in a new relationship have been pouring.

However, one Twitter user clarified the situation. On the 12th, one netizen reposted G-Dragon's Instagram story on Twitter, and another netizen commented, "I wonder, what does it mean?."

Later on, a few netizens replied that G-Dragon was only using a filter in the story where he can be seen talking to "My Love."

Meanwhile, G-Dragon participated in BIGBANG's latest group comeback this past April.

On April 5, the quartet dropped their first release in nearly four years, "Still Life," on various music platforms, along with its music video. The song captures the flow of time throughout the seasons as G-Dragon, T.O.P, Daesung, and Taeyang reminisce on their youth. G-Dragon and T.O.P both took part in writing the lyrics and composing the song.
