Hwasa made her debut as a member of four-member girl group MAMAMOO back in June 2014. With her status as one of the best vocalists in the industry, her life has been in the spotlight and many are always curious to know more about her romantic life.

MAMAMOO Hwasa Dating Rumor With BTS Jimin
Back in December 2020, fans of MAMAMOO Hwasa and BTS Jimin were in for a shock when they came across a a sudden rumor that the two idols were in a romantic relationship.
The rumor, which came out of nowhere, was first sparked when a Twitter user had alleged that Korean media outlet Dispatch had confirmed their relationship.

The Twitter user had shared in a now-deleted tweet the "confirmed Dispatch couples," which include several idol pairings, such as Hwasa and Jimin, MONSTA X Shownu and an Apink member, and NCT Jaehyun and (G)I-DLE Miyeon.
However, the tweet did not include any official links, such as from Dispatch, that shared evidence of the alleged romantic relationship between the two.
At the same time, the Twitter user who made the tweet did not have a proper username on the social media platform, as they only went by "/." Thus, the Twitter user did not have any information that could indicate who they are, or where they get their "confirmed" dating information on the mentioned idols.

Unsurprisingly, fans of both idols were shocked over the dating rumor, and even wanted more answers regarding it. But fortunately, many were also quick to dismiss the rumors surrounding Hwasa and Jimin, for the sole reason that there is no evidence proving a romantic relationship between the two.
In fact, many even laughed at the Twitter user for their "lack of effort" to even make the blatant lie believable. Fans were also more worried about the possible threats the two idols could have face had the rumor blown up. But it did not take long for the rumor to die down and get buried.

As of now, Hwasa is currently single and is not dating anyone publicly. However, the "Maria" singer did mention in the past that she had dated in the past.
