GOT7 BamBam Uses Newly-Learned Phrase 'Shot Puno'
During his recent visit to the Philippines, GOT7 BamBam learned a new term and now he seems to be a big fan of it.
On July 26 and 28, Bambam held fansign events in Cebu and Manila in the Philippines, respectively. This marked the first time that the Thai K-pop idol met his Filipino fans as a solo artist.
During his fansign event in Manila, an Ahgase taught the "riBBon" singer the phrase, "shot puno." "Shot puno" is a famous slang term in the country used in drinking sessions. When translated to English it means, to drink a glass full of an alcoholic drink.

He has since been using the phrase in his social media posts. On July 28, he took to his Instagram account to share a photo with former 2NE1 member Sandara Park in a popular resto bar and grill in Manila. In the caption, he wrote, "She fly all the way to buy me gerry's grill (shot puno)."
Then, on Sept. 28, the "Slow Mo" singer changed his Twitter cover photo featuring the sentence, "Just shot puno, and you'll feel fine."

His use of the popular Filipino phrase didn't end there. On Oct. 17, GOT7 BamBam uploaded a hilarious photo of himself after what seems to be a long night of drinking. He captioned it with, "After shot puno."
The tweet immediately racked up thousands of likes with many fans finding it funny.

One fan replied to BamBam's post by linking a video of a man mixing various ingredients into a local bottle of gin, saying that's how Fillipinos drink alcohol.

Another fan made a tweet featuring a picture of Filipinos showing respect for the Philippine flag, suggesting that they felt pride after the Thai K-pop idol used the Filipino phrase once again.

In a separate tweet, a fan jokingly shared an unreleased photo during the drinking session. It shows GOT7 BamBam looking deep in his thoughts as he was surrounded by his friends.

GOT7 BamBam's "After shot puno" drunk photo has since reached more than 349,000 likes and over 95,000 retweets.
GOT7 BamBam's Recent Activities
The Thai K-pop idol had been busy in the past months as a solo artist. He kicked off the year by making his very first solo comeback with his second EP "B," which features the title song "Slow Mo."
Then, on April 22, he released a digital single titled "Wheels Up," featuring Mayzin, under the newly founded music agency, Golden State Entertainment. It was followed by his appearance at the solo fan meeting of his fellow GOT7 member Mark Tuan in Thailand. He acted as the event host at that time.
GOT7 BamBam then flew to the Philippines to hold his fansign events in Cebu and Manila in the Philippines on July 26 and 28, respectively. Two days later, he performed at K-pop Masterz in Manila.
