In a recent Marie Claire Korea interview, SHINee Minho was asked to pick an SM Entertainment junior artist who could be part of SM's "deer line"- and he chose an NCT member.

SHINee Minho Picks THIS NCT Member as Artist Who Could Be Part of SM's 'Deer Line'

On Dec. 13, Marie Claire Korea shared a new video on its official YouTube channel. It features SHINee Minho, who recently released his first solo album "CHASE."

In the video, the magazine had a fact check with Minho, with the idol looking at his profile on Namu Wiki and confirming or correcting the details posted on the platform.

While browsing, he came across the part where his visuals were described.

This is what he read:

"A typical handsome face and the standard of sculptural handsomeness. He is tall, has a small face, and boasts big eyes and a pointed nose.

"Because of his good-natured look and bright eyes, he is often compared to a deer, and he is one of the members of the SM deer line."

In response to this, SHINee Minho said, "Thank you so much. I always thank my parents. I got them from them."

SM Entertainment is known for its "deer line," which consists of the visuals of SM Entertainment groups, such as TVXQ Changmin, Girls' Generation YoonA, and SHINee Minho. (Former EXO Luhan used to be part of this line.)

During his fact check with Marie Claire Korea, SHINee Minho was asked to pick a junior who would inherit SM's deer line. He replied that it would be NCT Jaehyun.

Minho said, "NCT Jaehyun! I think he could be one of the members in the deer family. Jaehyun-ah, hello!"

In NCT 127, Jaehyun is part of the visual line and is also one of the main vocalists and sub rappers. He often makes headlines and becomes a hot topic in online communities for his prince-like visuals.

Just this past November, he went viral for his no-makeup, movie star-like visuals in an episode of NCT's "Johnny's Communication Center." The episode followed Johnny, Taeil, Jaehyun, and Taeyong in America during their time on the beach. The members didn't wear make-up during the shooting since the water would wash most of it off anyways.

Because of Jaehyun's explosive visuals in that episode, NCTzens have nothing but praises to the idol.

SHINee Minho probably noticed how good looking NCT Jaehyun is, which is why he chose him as the next artist to join SM's "deer line."

In other news, SHINee Minho dropped his solo debut album "CHASE" on Dec. 6. The album contains the title track of the same name and five B-side songs.

On Dec. 7 at 10:55 a.m. KST, "CHASE" ranked first on iTunes Album charts in at least 39 different regions, including the United States, Canada, Japan, Brazil, Sweden, Hong Kong, Thailand, Macau, Taiwan, Finland, Mexico, the Philippines, and more.

The mini-album also took No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Album chart and Recochoku's daily album chart in Japan.
