MOMOLAND JooE Net Worth 2023: Idol Who Once Received $50 Salary Is Now Millionaire

From being an idol who used to receive $50 worth of a paycheck after her debut, MOMOLAND JooE, who rose into stardom with hits "Bboom Bboom" and "BAAM," became a millionaire.

How rich is the idol?

MOMOLAND JooE New Worth in 2023

As of January 2023, JooE's net worth ranges from 300k USD to 3 million USD.

According to a source specializing in celebrities' net worth, the idol has earnings from $500k to $600k, mostly coming from her job as a singer as well as income from her brand endorsements.

In another source, JooE's net earnings reached $2/3 million this year.

In particular, JooE debuted as MOMOLAND in 2016. She is massively loved for her bright energy and image, which also capture the interest of several local brands.

During their "heyday," JooE's group was widely known for their viral hits including "Bboom Bboom," BAAM," "I'm So Hot" and more. With these releases, they were considered a top-tier girl group, who also once rivaled BLACKPINK and TWICE.

In 2018, JooE even topped the Brand Reputation rankings for female idols in February. This is a huge indicator of how popular JooE was in the late 2010s as the brand reputation index determines the perception of the customers, employees, partners and others of the idol as a brand.

Around this year, she was also selected as the brand ambassador of the Korean makeup brand, Baker7.

MOMOLAND JooE Before Becoming Millionaire

However, the aforementioned achievements didn't come to JooE as an opportunity that she easily grabbed.

Since she was young, JooE always dreamt of becoming a singer. Due to this, she was only a middle schooler when she started taking four-hour roundtrips from Yangpyeong to Seoul to attend her dance and vocal academies.

Through her middle and high school, the "Ready or Not" singer was rejected in about 50 auditions until MLD Entertainment signed her to their agency.

After joining "Finding Momoland," a show dedicated to MLD's new girl group, JooE finally made it into the final cut and officially debuted in 2016.

The group became a huge hit after two years, and in between their rookie days after debut, it was indeed tough for JooE.

In a past broadcast, she mentioned that due to their training debts and balance, the group didn't receive their salary immediately. Hers finally came when she volunteered at a local event and received $50 as her first paycheck. This apparently happened between 2016 and 2017.

But in 2018, the cash flow into JooE's bank account finally became smooth with overwhelming work as a group, not to mention her activities as a solo entertainer and CF model.

In 2019, she was able to do filial piety by gifting her parents a luxury BMW car. She also moved her parents from the countryside to a standard apartment in Ilsan.

On the other hand, JooE was active last year as a contestant for JTBC's "The Second World," and finished the competition in fourth place.
