NewJeans, THE BOYZ, More Take Over Circle Weekly Charts — Who Ranked No. 1?

Various K-pop artists dominated Circle Chart's weekly rankings that covered February 19 to 25, 2023.

Circle Chart Unveils Weekly Rankings: THE BOYZ, NewJeans, SEVENTEEN, More Rank

The rankings included releases, artists, and albums that took the reign within the week of February 19 to 25. It displayed charts involving Album, Download, Digital, Streaming, Global K-pop, and Social charts.

Circle Chart makes sure that artists get the recognition they deserve, since K-pop is all about enjoying music, and appreciating content. Aside from rankings, Circle Chart held an offline ceremony to celebrate its 30th Anniversary and honor awards to various Korean acts.

With the genre's skyrocketing popularity nowadays, wider audiences are reached, leading to the musicians' path to prominence.

Album Chart

For the album chart, Lee Chan Won ranked No. 1 with his first studio album "ONE." This was followed by "BE AWAKE" by THE BOYZ, their eight mini-album.

Meanwhile, the META version of "BE AWAKE" also joined the chart, ranking on No. 5. On the No. 3 spot, NewJeans took over with "OMG," trailed by TXT's "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION" on No. 4.

Download Chart

On the download chart, THE BOYZ topped the list on No. 1 with their title track "ROAR." Lee Chan Won followed on No. 2 with his song "Wish Lanterns," the main track of his album "ONE."

On No. 3, Jeong Dong Won made its entry with "Forever" and STAYC placed No. 4, with their viral song, "TEDDY," which gained popularity for the month of February. SEVENTEEN completed the Top 5, with their song "Fighting" (feat. Lee Young Ji).

Digital & Streaming Chart

The digital and streaming charts was reigned by NewJeans, who scored another amazing triple crown. In Circle Chart's weekly rankings, NewJeans maintained their strong hold over three spots on digital, streaming, and Global K-pop.

NewJeans placed No. 1 with "Ditto," No. 2 with "OMG," and No. 3 with "Hype Boy." Meanwhile, soloist Younha maintained her grip on No. 4 with "Event Horizon."

SEVENTEEN BSS concluded both charts with "Fighting," placing on No. 5.

Global K-pop Chart

NewJeans continued to stretch on Global K-pop chart rankings. Their three songs "OMG," (No. 1) "Ditto," (No. 2) and "Hype Boy" (No. 3) managed to remain its foothold in its top three positions.

On the fourth place, LE SSERAFIM placed with "ANTIFRAGILE" and SEVENTEEN BSS's "Fighting" made it on No. 5.

Social Chart

On Circle Chart's previous rankings covered from February 12 to 18, the social chart stayed the same with BLACKPINK ranking on the first place. They were trailed by NewJeans at No. 2, BTS at No. 3, Choi Yu Ree at No. 4. However, a change was seen when BLACKPINK's youngest member Lisa entered the top 5, finishing on the fifth spot.
