TXT Holds Position In Billboard 200 For 6 Consecutive Weeks With 'The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION'

TXT's 'The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION' Remains on Billboard 200 For 6 Consecutive Weeks

TXT still proves their power on the charts with their newest album 'The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION.'

In the Billboard 200 charts, TXT managed to land on No. 57 with the album, marking the week ending on March 18. "The Name Chapter TEMPTATION" has now spent six consecutive weeks on the chart. Notably, TXT has also joined BTS and BLACKPINK, as the third K-pop artist in history to ever achieve the feat.

On this category, Billboard 200 lists the most popular albums in the United States, which are ranked according on how trendy the songs are. "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION" was released on January 27, along with its title track "Sugar Rush Ride," which received lots of love domestically and internationally.

On February 5, Billboard announced the album had debuted on the Top 200 Albums chart, securing the No. 1 position. The United States is the world's largest music market, and given with their album's dominating force, it indicates their release's massive popularity.

In its debut on the Billboard 200, "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION" had collected 161, 500 equivalent units on the week ending on February 2.

As if that wasn't already enough, it also gained 152,000 traditional album sales and 9,000 streaming equivalent album units. This amazing entry also earned them 500 track equivalent album units in its first-week sales, as well as 13.24 million audio streams.

On February 12, "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION" stayed strong on the Billboard 200's Top 3, making its second week entry. Due to selling 48,000 equivalent album units, TXT has now joined their senior group BTS, for charting an album for two consecutive weeks in Top 3.

It was then trailed by its third week placement, keeping its spot on the top 10, before falling down to No. 12 on its fourth consecutive week. On its fifth week, it rose back up on Billboard 200's Top 40, surpassing SM Entertainment boy group NCT 127.

TXT Dominates on Billboard's World Albums Chart, Artist 100, More!

"The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION" also made its wave towards other Billboard charts. These include World Albums chart at No. 2, Artist 100 at No. 41, Top Album Sales chart at No. 6, and Top Current Albums Sales chart at No. 5.

Aside from Billboard, the album's title track "Sugar Rush Ride" currently garners 102,296,652 views on YouTube, as of March 15. The MV was uploaded in January 27.

They have also sold 1.8 million copies on its first day of release, according to Hanteo. "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION" beat their own previous record on "Minisode 2: Thursday's Child," which sold 918,413 copies.
