A lot of idols and celebrities are open about being relatives, but these stars only briefly mentioned in the past that they are related, that's why newer fans might not know about it.
With this, we gathered celebrity relatives that once confirmed that they are connected by either blood or marriage.

1. TWICE Jeongyeon & KARD Somin
In the entertainment scene, TWICE Jeongyeon is known for having a celebrity older sister, Gong Seungyeon. However, aside from the actress, Jeongyeon actually shares a special connection with this idol as well!

In 2018, KARD Somin revealed in an interview with International BNT that Jeongyeon and Seungyeon are the nieces of her father’s younger brother’s wife.
She continued by saying:
"As we are the same age, we were able to become close quickly.”
2. NCT 127 Taeyong & Hong Suk Chun
Broadcaster Hong Suk Chun and NCT leader Taeyong are said to be distant cousins.
The veteran broadcaster explained that "the cousin of his cousin's son" is NCT Taeyong.
To make it clear, Taeyong is the first cousin of Suk Chun's first cousin's son.
Initially, Hong has only seen the idol's face on broadcast; thus, he sent him a video message, suggesting to meet him once in the future.
Eventually, Taeyong listened to his distant cousin's request and met Hong Suk Chun in a broadcast. They certified the meeting with a selfie and promised to keep in touch with each other.
3. Ze:A Park Hyung Sik & Fin. K.L Ok Joo Hyun
Seems like top-tier visuals and talents really run in this family!
In 2018, Ze:A member turned actor Park Hyung Sik worked alongside the OG "Nation's Fairy" Fin. K.L Ok Joo Hyun in a musical called "Elisabeth."
In the musical, Hyung Sik played the character of Der Tod who seduces the female lead Elisabeth but in real life, Joo Hyun revealed that they are actually second cousins!
"Park Hyung Sik is my family member, so I was hoping for people of the same family to do well, so I gave him special guidance."
4. Yoon Yusun & INFINITE Sungyeol
INFINITE Sungyeol, also known as a popular actor, is actually the nephew-in-law of veteran actress Yoon Yusun.
Sungyeol's mother and Yoon Yoosun are cousins. Although they don't have any public interaction, Yoosun supported the idol-actor when he ventured into acting.
5. KARA Kang Jiyoung & NS Yoon-G
Second-generation idol KARA Kang Jiyoung and singer NS Yoon-G (Kim Yoon Ji) are also cousins.
In a broadcast, NS Yoon-G confirmed that she's related to Jiyoung because she's the daughter of her uncle.
