aespa Is Too 'Spicy' in Sizzling Music Video
On May 8, aespa finally dropped the music video for "Spicy," the title track for their third mini album "My World."
"Spicy" takes fandom MYs into a lively dance-based track, amplified by its synth bass instrumental and the group's vibrant charisma. The music video also offers a fresh take on their concept, offering a brighter and peppy release, compared to their dark-themed "Black Mamba," "Savage," and "Girls."

On April 16, aespa first announced their comeback with several eccentric teasers, which shows a balloon-like font of "My World" floating within different parts of a city.
Afterwards, the quartet dropped intro videos showcasing the girls on a sunny landscape and flaunting their gorgeous visuals. This was also accompanied by several photos.
On April 24, the group released a teaser that exhibits a news interview format. In the video, members Karina, Giselle, Winter and NingNing were interviewed regarding a strange phenomenon occurring around the area.

On May 2, aespa uploaded their pre-release track "Welcome To MY World (feat. nævis)." As opposed to aespa's hard-hitting bops, "Welcome To MY World (feat. nævis)" contained a slow and atmospheric vibe, taking MYs to an otherworldly listening experience.
This was followed by the B-side songs of "My World" that also contained their own track videos. The group released MVs for "I'm Unhappy," "Salty & Sweet," and "Thirsty."

When the MV for "Spicy" was dropped, the video reached out on various social media platforms and online forums. Fans expressed how they felt about aespa's new song. They even commented on the song's chart performances and its vibe resemblance to "Hot Summer" of f(x).
