Jisung is a former member of the pre-debut team Die.A under HappyFace Entertainment launched in 2016. Unfortunately, the team wasn't able to debut officially after she and other members left the company.

Ahead of their parting ways, she first joined Mnet's "Produce 101," which created the team I.O.I. At the broadcast, her evaluation changed from a D grade to a B grade, thanks to her splendid dance skills. She made it until Episode 5 and was eventually eliminated, ranking 68th.

Meanwhile, at the time, she also joined the program with her younger sister Kim Hong Eun. Shockingly, both sisters joined the pageant together as well, expressing their desire to become the "ending fairy" of Miss Korea Seoul 2023.

The six candidates then who passed the preliminary round in Seoul will finally be able to represent the city in the 67th Miss Korea Selection Competition to be held in October.

Jisung was born in 1996. She majored in practical dance at the School of Performing Arts School, and majored in theater at Chung-Ang University.

She is known to have been a trainee for seven years and was a candidate for the debut group of the group Girl's Day, but wasn't able to debut.

After "Produce 101," she quit being an idol and pursued an acting career, appearing in various dramas including "School 2017" "Eulachacha Waikiki," "Miss Hammurabi," Anna, Marie" and more.

Attention is focused on whether Kim Jisung will be able to achieve good results in the Miss Korea finals to be held in October.
