FIFTY FIFTY Breaks Personal Record on Billboard's Pop Airplay Chart With 'Cupid'

For the week ending on June 17, FIFTY FIFTY's viral hit song "Cupid" reached a new placement on Billboard's Pop Airplay, peaking at No. 16.

Joining them is K-pop sensation BTS, who is the only K-pop act to chart higher. FIFTY FIFTY also broke their own personal record and established a new record among female K-pop acts with the highest ranking.

FIFTY FIFTY also reached a peak in Billboard's Pop Airplay on June 6, local time, when "Cupid" claimed the No. 18 spot. This led them to become the first-ever female K-pop act to land a song on Pop Airplay's Top 20, following K-pop boy group BTS.

Billboard's Pop Airplay chart is known for listing mainstream songs across Top 40 radio stations across the US. Apart from Pop Airplay, FIFTY FIFTY also made waves on other Billboard charts as well.

The group's track "Cupid" also soared on Billboard's Hot 100, placing on the No. 21 spot, and marking its 12th consecutive week. This achievement also made them the K-pop girl group with the longest charting song ever, due to its extension.

Meanwhile, FIFTY FIFTY's "Cupid" also entered the Global 200 and the Global Excl. U.S., where the song claimed the No. 3 spots on both charts.

"Cupid" also came in at No. 43 on the Digital Song Sales chart, with the inclusion of placing fourth place at the World Digital Song Sales.

FIFTY FIFTY also broke their own personal record on Billboard's Artist 100, by claiming No. 58. This record led them to spend six weeks straight on the Artist 100 chart.

FIFTY FIFTY to Release Movie Soundtrack For Upcoming Film 'Barbie'

In other news, FIFTY FIFTY has been included as one of the artists who will be singing an official soundtrack for upcoming film "Barbie." On May 25, local time, the news was announced by Rolling Stone and @barbiethealbum on social media, where they uploaded the full lineup.

In the poster, FIFTY FIFTY was included, and they are set to release a brand new song titled "Barbie Dreams." They will also be joined by American rapper Kali, raising the anticipation within K-pop fans.

"Barbie" is scheduled to premiere on July 21 in the United States, and the official soundtrack will also be released on the same day.

The lineup will also include popular singers worldwide, including artists such as Dua Lipa, Charlie XCX, Nicki Minaj, The Kid LAROI, Khalid, Ava Max, Ryan Gosling, and many more.
