Lim Nayoung and Choi Woong have become a hot topic for their dating rumors.

On June 29, Korean media outlet SBS News reported that Lim Nayoung and Choi Woong were dating. According to their claims, the two began dating after working together in the play "Hello, The Hell: Othello."

It also stated that after both stars performed at the 2023 Adelaide Fringe Festival Korean Season in March, the two traveled abroad as a romantic couple.

Shortly after the information was published, both Lim Nayoung and Choi Woong have denied the dating rumors circulating online, made through their respective representatives.

"Lim Nayoung and Choi Woong are not dating. Both of them are just close friends, who were acquainted during their time at the theatre, but Lim Nayoung doesn't currently have a boyfriend."

Lim Nayoung is a former member of I.O.I, the project girl group formed on the survival program "Produce 101" under Mnet. The group debuted on May 4, 2016, and made their mark on the K-pop scene as the "Nation's Pick" with popular songs such as "Dream Girls," "Very Very Very," "Pick Me," "Downpour," and more.

When I.O.I disbanded on January 29, 2017, due to their expiring exclusive contracts, every member went their separate ways to focus on their endeavors, with members going back to their respective companies, pursuing solo careers, re-debuting in a new group, or exploring the acting industry.

Nayoung and fellow I.O.I member Kyulkyung decided to re-debut in a new act, with both becoming members of PRISTIN.

On March 21, 2017, PRISTIN debuted with their first mini album "Hi! PRISTIN" along with "Wee Woo" serving as the title track. Nayoung also became a member of PRISTIN V, PRISTIN's first and only sub-unit.

However, PRISTIN disbanded on May 24, 2019, along with its sub-unit. Since then, Nayoung has been operating independently. The idol has had ventures on Sublime Artist Agency, but eventually left the agency on May 15.

Meanwhile, Choi Woong is a former model who became an actor. He is known for his appearances on shows such as "Descendants of the Sun," "Goblin: The Lonely and Great God," and many more.
