ZEROBASEONE's 'Youth in the Shade' Exceeds 1 Million First-Week Sales in Hanteo + Group Becomes 5th Highest-Ranking Act to Do So

ZEROBASEONE is making a solid start in their career!

On the first week since its release, covering from July 10 to 16, newly debuted boy group ZEROBASEONE's first album "Youth in the Shade" has now reached a total of 1,822,028 sold-out copies, according to Hanteo.

With this achievement, it also surpassed previous project male group X1's record of 524,000 album copies set by their debut album "Quantum Leap."

This feat also led ZEROBASEONE to become the fifth-highest ranking artist in first week sales, following Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN, BTS, and TXT.

Before achieving its first-week sales record, "Youth in the Shade" also accumulated a total of 1,240,700 copies on its first-day sales. This led the release to become the first-ever debut album to surpass over 1 million sold-outs in a single day.

Meanwhile, on YouTube, ZEROBASEONE's music video for title track "In Bloom" currently garners 15,478,998 views as of July 17. The MV was released on July 10, as well as album "Youth in the Shade."

ZEROBASEONE's 'Youth in the Shade' Achieves 1 Million Stock Pre-Orders

Prior to their achievements in first-day and first-week sales, ZEROBASEONE had already gained massive support ahead of their official debut.

On July 4, their debut album "Youth in the Shade" reached 1,080,000 stock pre-orders. Initially on June 26, the album also surpassed 780,000 in their pre-order count, as announced by Genie Music, meaning that "Youth in the Shade" had reached this number in just five days.

Netizens congratulated ZEROBASEONE for reaching an impressive sales number despite being newly debuted and expressed their awe for the group.
