Super Junior Heechul Reveals What's Stopping Him To Get Married
In the past years, Heechul has been on and off when it comes to getting married. However, in a recent broadcast, the 40-year-old idol revealed he still wants to get married but this is what stopping him.

On July 17, Super Junior Kim Heechul appeared as a special guest on KBS HappyFM's "Song Jin Woo's Brave Radio." During the broadcast, the MC brought back past articles about the idol and talked about the stories behind them.

Among their topics, Song Jin Woo mentioned the article where Heechul claimed that he aims to get married in 2028, emphasizing that it could be "too late."
Hearing this, Heechul agreed but revealed what was stopping him to tie the knot.
"I have to get married, but I don't think I can do it. I have no confidence in myself when it comes to it."

As the conversation gets deeper, Heechul also said he's envious of Song Jin Woo, who is married and even has a kid. The idol further reasoned he has no confidence in getting married.
"Jin Woo is younger than me, but he's doing great and I'm envious of him. Taking responsibility for a family is a natural thing in a way, but just because it is natural doesn’t mean we can do it well.”
In the past, Heechul used to say that he doesn't want to get married or he's lazy to do it.
Regarding why he changed his mind, the " Mang" singer said:
"When I saw the falling birth rate statistics, I thought he shouldn't talk about marriage just like that. So instead of saying, 'I don't want to get married,' I'd rather say, 'I don't think I can get married,' considering the sudden plummet in birth rate (in Korea)."
Super Junior Kim Heechul Hints at Wedding Plans, Dream
In the same radio broadcast, Heechul hilariously revealed his wedding dream as well. Pointing out that he's been spending a lot of congratulatory money and attending a lot of weddings for 18 years, he opts for a huge wedding celebration.
"I'm going to do it very loudly. I have paid too much congratulatory money for 18 years. I'm thinking of having a wedding outdoors on a good day. I want to do it at Jamsil Main Stadium or Sangam World Cup Stadium."
In May last year, Heechul initially talked about his wedding plans on SBS's "My Little Old Boy."
After moving into a luxury apartment in Gangnam, the idol who made some renovations to it shared that he would most likely get married in his current house.
He showed his romantic side by saying that he would definitely take off all built-in home appliances if his future wife doesn't like its design.
Regarding the topic of having kids, Heechul responded positively about it and expressed his desire to have a child who looks like him.
