In an online community, aespa Karina and BTS RM were embroiled in a dating rumor after fans pointed out THESE "proofs."

BTS RM Dating aespa Karina? Here Are Alleged Proofs

Recently, RM was speculated to be dating his junior Karina.

In particular, the rumor started in various online communities and SNS after a netter posted an article claiming the two idols' real score.

One of the proofs that fueled the allegation was due to Karina and RM's common love for the South Korean indie rock band, Se So Neon. The current duo comprised lead vocalist and guitarist Hwang So Yoon, along with bassist Park Hyun Jin.

This year, Karina has been randomly sharing her love for the band, while it was a fact that RM is a fan of Hwang So Yoon. In fact, they even went to the same event to see the duo.

At the time, both idols shared photos with Park at the same background, same angle and filter, then released them on their respective Instagram.

Another piece of evidence was RM allegedly showing his support to his rumored girlfriend at one of her performances.

Earlier in October, aespa joined the Peaches One Universe Festival as a special guest and it was revealed that RM went there with his friends to watch the stage.

ARMYs, MYs Deny BTS RM & aespa Karina Dating Rumor

Following the rumor, ARMYs (BTS fandom) and MYs (aespa fans) were quick to deny it, calling it "absurd."

Both fandoms stated that it is a groundless claim and that being fans of the same group or being in the same festival venue is not enough to prove that the idols are in a romantic relationship.

• "No, what? Just because she recommended songs? I also love Se So Neon's tracks, so am I dating Karina? Why are you acting like an elementary kid? And also, Karina went there with her stylist."
• "I'm sorry, but out of all idols embroiled in such rumor, this is the most ridiculous."

Unfortunately, fandom war is inevitable after some ARMYs and MYs denied the rumor by calling out and dragging the opposite idols.

• "Karina likes handsome men."
• "RM is smart so he doesn't just date anyone."
• "I feel sorry for Karina if this is true."
• "RM is such a waste for her."
• "Why would Karina even get a guy who will just go to the military? There are a lot of handsome guys her age."
• "I don't think this will work due to their difference in intellectual level. RM should be meeting a highly educated and smart woman."

Some, however, think that the two suit each other and dating is not a problem since both of them are adults.

• "Surprisingly, Karina is close to RM's style."
• "They match well, and RM is also close to Karina's ideal type. It's just that RM's career is very high, so they're not a perfect match unlike V and Jennie, but they will still get along well."
• "The two go well together, tho."

Despite this, both fandoms also agreed to report it on the respective fan support websites of HYBE and SM.
