Apink Chorong Indirectly Reacts on Son Na Eun & Yookyung's Departure from Group

In a broadcast, Apink leader Chorong expressed her feelings about the withdrawal of members Yookyung and Son Na Eun.

On January 11, the second-gen K-pop icon appeared on the 86th episode of "No Back Tak Jae Hoon" Season 2 as its guest.

On the YouTube web show, Chorong then caught attention when she was asked about re-organizing as a 5-member group from originally having seven members.

During the broadcast, MC Tak Jae Hoon mentioned that Apink is a 14-year group and mischievously asked:

"There were originally seven members of Apink, but now there are five left. Isn't this a thriller group? When will there be one less member?"

Perplexed, Chorong laughed it off and said:

"We're also jokingly talking about it among ourselves. Who will be the last one left?"

However, when Tak asked her more, saying:

"Who do you think will disappear next? Is there a member you are expecting?"

The group's leader pleaded:

"I hope you don't ask too sad questions. I'm so sad."

As a response, Tak subtly delved deeper into her true feelings about the two members, Yookyung and Son Na Eun, who initially left the team and asked:

"Then aren't you sad about the members who left?"

Hearing this, Chorong sincerely responded:

"Of course it's sad. So I hope there won't be any members who will disappear anymore."

She also attested to fans and the group that she won't leave the group for a long time, showing affection to Apink by saying:

"I don't think it's me yet. I'll remain for a long time. Since I am the leader, I want to protect (the team)."

In particular, Apink is a 2nd-generation girl group that debuted in April 2011. They established popularity thanks to their hits, "It Girl" "Bubibu," "NoNoNo," "Mr. Chu," and more.

However, amid a rising career, Hong Hookyung left the group in April 2013, while Son Na Eun left them in April 2022 and Apink became a quintet.
