BLACKPINK Jennie was again embroiled in a dating rumor with another K-pop idol, and this time, with her junior, THE BOYZ Juyeon.

On January 16, the rumored couple became a hot topic in an online community after the OP wrote an article claiming that Jennie and Juyeon were most likely dating because of the following proofs.

Jennie-Juyeon Dating Speculations Arise Due to THESE 'Proofs'

In the post, the internet user laid down the alleged reasons the dating claims sparked between the two K-pop idols.

Their apparent dating rumor started on December 23, 2023, two days before the Christmas. Juyeon posted about Zion T's "Snow" lyrics, "Will it snow?"

On the next day, Jennie posted a cover of "Snow," which was believed to be a reference to the song Juyeon first talked about.

Second, the male idol would post a photo of a cat family with a heart drawing on top. Among idols, it is known that the BLACKPINK member is a cat type.

Third, they were spotted having common friends, such as the stars both appearing on Daniel Caesar's concert. On top of it, Juyeon recently became a friend of Lee Joohyung, one of Jennie's best friends.

Last but not least, in January, Juyeon celebrated his birthday on the 15th and had a live broadcast, but on the next day, he celebrated his birthday again, which was also Jennie's birthday. There are speculations that they celebrated their birthdays together.

K-Netizens Defend Jennie & Juyeon from Dating Speculations

While the op revealed several pieces of evidences, K-netz, as well as BLINKs and The B, Jennie and Juyeon's fandoms, expressed their disagreement to this.

According to both fans, these "proofs" were just ridiculous, and having the same interest and friends don't immediately means that two person are dating.
