On March 11, 2024, a photo went viral online, allegedly of RIIZE member Anton on a date with his girlfriend during a break in New Jersey.

While Anton's face was not visible in the image, the presence of a Louis Vuitton bag led many to speculate that it was indeed the male idol. This is because the idol was sighted with the same bag in South Korea and Paris, and the bag is reportedly a gift from the fashion house.

Criticism quickly arose against Anton, especially since RIIZE had been active for less than a year. Comparisons were drawn to Seunghan, another member of RIIZE, who faced repercussions for dating prior to his debut.

Because of that, Korean netizens are debating whether Seunghan should rejoin RIIZE or not.

Korean Netizens Debate Whether Seunghan Should Re-Join RIIZE

On March 12, 2024, a post titled "No, but they should bring back Seunghan" was posted to a popular South Korean online community forum.

In the comment section of the post, Korean netizens debated whether or not the idol should rejoin the group. For reference, Seunghan was put on hiatus in November 2023 after rumors of him dating, smoking, and going to a motel with his girlfriend prior to his debut circulated. He has since been absent from all RIIZE activities.

Now that Anton is currently embroiled in dating rumors, people believe it is unfair for Seunghan to not participate in activities if another member is also dating. Many believed he was too talented to be crucified for his past actions, and it is unfair if he continues to sit out of activities.

Additionally, it was noted that Eunseok was also embroiled in dating rumors, with screenshots claiming he had a girlfriend prior to his debut. With that, people say it is unfair that only Seunghan is being punished for dating before joining RIIZE.

However, some people believe Seunghan's scandal is much bigger than that of both Anton and Eunseok. Photos of the idol in clubs and smoking before his debut spread online, which some people think is too scandalous. Many also frowned upon the fact that he went to a motel with his ex-girlfriend, especially since some believed the girlfriend was a minor at the time. However, it was never verified what age his girlfriend at the time was.

Many think it will be better for him to go solo rather than return to RIIZE, similar to how former WayV/NCT Lucas is doing now.
