Former T-ARA member has regained consciousness after attempting to take her own life.

On March 27, 2024, it was reported that Areum was rushed to the hospital after a suicide attempt. During the time of her attempt, Areum was in the middle of a messy divorce battle with her ex-husband. Previously, she revealed that her ex-husband abused her and their two children.

Former T-ARA Areum Regains Consciousness

On March 28, 2024, SPOTV released an exclusive report stating that Areum had regained consciousness. It was known she woke up after she left a comment on a YouTube video.

In her comment, she stated she would be taking legal action against the owner of the account for spreading false information.

Her comment reads,

"I initiated legal action because of the child abuse. It's shocking that this is the first thing I encounter upon regaining consciousness. I will be taking legal action against you for spreading misinformation."

Ex-T-ARA Areum Boyfriend Accused of Borrowing Money From Fans Using Her Name

On March 27, YouTuber Lee Jin Ho made a YouTube video accusing Areum's boyfriend of using her name to swindle her followers of money.

Previously, Areum warned fans that someone was using her name to ask for money, and that her account had been hacked. She informed fans that she has no financial problems and will be taking these matters to the police. The person who hacked her allegedly stole money from her family and acquaintances.

In his video, Lee Jin Ho claimed Areum's boyfriend would tell her followers that the former idol is pregnant and hospitalized, and that she needed money for hospital fees and surgery. Previously, Areum denied allegations that she was hospitalized.

It appears the allegations are false, as Areum commented that she will be taking legal action against him. As of writing, Lee Jin Ho has not responded to Areum's comment. Additionally, the YouTube video accusing her boyfriend of scamming people for money is still up on his YouTube channel.
