Park Bo Ram Passes Away At Age of 30, XANADU Entertainment Confirms

On April 12, XANADU Entertainment released a confirmation of Park Bo Ram's passing.

The agency stated that Park Bo Ram passed away on April 11 and that the cause of death is still being investigated by the police authorities.

"It is correct that Park Bo Ram died on the 11th of April," XANADU confirmed. Following this, the agency also shared that a funeral for the singer will be held after an in-depth discussion with her family. XANADU then offered its condolences.

"Hello. This is XANADU Entertainment.

We are making this announcement to announce the sad and heartbreaking news. Park Bo Ram suddenly left us late at night on the 11th.

All of our fellow artists and staff under XANADU Entertainment are deeply saddened by the news and are currently mourning the deceased. It is even more heartbreaking to announce the sudden news to fans who support Park Bo Ram.

We earnestly ask you to refrain from spreading speculative reports so that the bereaved family and colleagues who are grieving can commemorate the deceased.

The funeral arrangements will be arranged after consulting with the bereaved family. Once again, we send our deepest condolences to the deceased so she may rest in peace."

Park Bo Ram made her official debut in 2014 with the title track "Beautiful." But before making her mark in the Korean music industry, she was also known for participating in Mnet's audition program "Superstar K2" in 2010.

The singer is also known for her hits, such as "Dynamic Love," "Will Be Fine," "How About You," and the mega-popular "Reply 1988" OST "Hyewadong/Sangmundong."
