Min Hee Jin Breaks Silence on HYBE's Audit Allegations

In response to HYBE's accusations regarding the audit process, Min Hee Jin, the CEO of ADOR, has issued a statement countering claims of unresponsiveness. This comes amid escalating tensions between the two entities.

HYBE, the parent company of ADOR, initiated an audit against Min Hee Jin, sending an official questionnaire to her and ADOR's deputy CEOs. The audit also involved a request for company files and Min Hee Jin's laptop, with a deadline set for April 23, 6pm.

Min Hee Jin's Response: Audit Completed Within Deadline

In her latest statement on April 24, 2024, Min Hee Jin clarified that she had completed the questionnaire within the stipulated time frame and submitted it to HYBE. This contradicts HYBE's assertion of her unresponsiveness during the audit process.

HYBE's inclusion of a clause threatening legal action against external disclosure further underscores the sensitivity of the audit process.

Denial of Usurping Power: Min Hee Jin's Counterclaims

Amidst reports suggesting Min Hee Jin's alleged attempts to gain management control from HYBE, she vehemently denied such accusations.

Instead, she highlighted her efforts in addressing internal issues, notably launching a complaint regarding Belift Lab's alleged plagiarism of NewJeans. She refuted claims of power usurpation and maintained her focus on resolving operational concerns.

Meanwhile, Min Hee Jin, CEO of ADOR, has responded to HYBE's demand for her resignation by explaining her side of the feud in an interview with Korean media outlet Hankyung.

She claims that the dispute stems from concerns that ILLIT, a group under HYBE's BELIFT Lab, has copied the identity and success formula of ADOR's group, NewJeans.

She accuses HYBE of greedily mimicking NewJeans' style rather than creating something original. Despite attempts to address the issue with HYBE, their requests were allegedly ignored. Meanwhile, NewJeans is gearing up for a comeback and their Japanese debut.
