Bobby Responds To Fan's Question About Fatherhood, iKONICs Emotional Over Idol's Reply
On April 29, a clip went viral showing Bobby in a fan call with an iKONIC. According to the videos, the fan asked the idol what it was like being a father.
After hearing the question, Bobby lit up immediately, and happily responded to the question. The idol expressed that he's currently happy about being a father.
Though the idol opened up that it wasn't easy, he reassured the fan of his unconditional love for his son.
"Oh, it's very nice. I'm very happy being a father right now," Bobby shared. "It's kind of hard, but it's all good. He's my son, you know?"

Bobby Announces Marriage & Wife's Pregnancy
On August 20, 2021, Bobby wrote a handwritten letter on his official Instagram account. The idol had surprised fans with some big news, as he announced his marriage and that he was about to become a father.

"Hello. This is Bobby of iKON.
There is something I want to tell you today, so I decided to write this post after thinking about it with much thought.
I promised to marry the person I love. I also want to let you know that I will become a father in September. I'm happy that I'll welcome a new member of my family, but I feel more apologetic towards my fans who must be shocked by my sudden announcement.
I should have let you know earlier, but I was worried about this at first, so I would like to apologize for the delay.
I feel a heavy sense of responsibility because I felt like I placed a burden on the people who have always helped and supported me with all their hearts, even though I am still lacking in many ways. I sincerely apologize to those who were hurt or confused by my news.
I will become a person who's not ashamed of the iKON members, fans, and parents who made me the person I am now. Someone, despite lacking, to be a person the world needs.
Additionally, I will do my best to work hard to not cause harm to my members and fans, who are eagerly waiting for iKON's activities."
