In the K-pop industry, idols are held to high standards when it comes to image and behavior, but these aspects can be negatively impacted by "controversies." This can include being in a romantic relationship, attending clubs, or other simple reasons such as vaping.
As for vaping, a few K-pop idols have been spotted using or holding an E-cigarette, and the reactions can vary between fandoms.
This is because some netizens may find vaping unpleasant which can cause backlash against the idol, while some don't mind the gesture. ITZY Ryujin Ignites Heated Debate For Allegedly Giving Middle Finger
In other news, a netizen uploaded a video clip on platform Pann, which showed Ryujin and Yeji standing for a photo call in Sydney. While it may seem harmless, the netizen pointed out that Ryujin had given the middle finger during the shoot.
On the forum titled, "Wow, It's My First Time Seeing A Female Idol Give The Middle Finger," the clip immediately received malicious comments from netters.
This caused MIDZYs to defend the idol, saying how it was only normal for someone her age to do a harmless prank. Meanwhile, some argued that Ryujin actually did a finger heart instead.
