The upcoming MacBook’s Intel Haswell processor is expected to increase the battery life and graphics of the computer.

Earlier reports have indicated that the new lineup of Macbook Pros will not ship until later this fall due to yield problems in the Retina display devices. It has been earlier rumored that it’s the same reason why the highly anticipated iPad Mini 2 could probably have a delayed release, because Apple intends to upgrade its specs to Retina but the components are on delayed delivery dates.

The MacBook Air 2013 with the Haswell processor was unveiled last June at Apple’s WWDC and since its release, sales of the device have been strong. The longer battery life of the system has been a favorite feature for many customers.

The new line up of MacBook Air starts with a $999 price tag and is available in 11 and 13-inch displays. The new Air features 802.11 ac Wi-Fi support, all flash storage starting at 128 GB up to 512 GB and longer battery life. Fourth generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors and new Intel HD Graphics 5000 will enhance the performance of the new MacBook.

Apple is scheduled to release the new MacBook Pro together with the OS X Maverick operating system.
