2NE1 may be oddly quiet this September, but it seems the ladies could be gearing up for their highly anticipated new album next month as planned.

Firstly, CL of 2NE1 will be appearing on stage with G-Dragon for his solo promotions. The song "R.O.D." off his new album "Coup d'Etat" originally features Lydia Paek, but CL will perform the song live on Inkigayo September 29.

Although this is purely for G-Dragon and his solo activities, it will still be nice to see a member of 2NE1 on stage after the hiatus they've taken this month.

As previously reported, fans are upset that despite earlier reports of a new single this month, 2NE1 and YG have remained quiet, causing fans to fear a delay not only for a new single, but their new album as well.

Although the jury is still out on the 2NE1 new album, there are small signs that perhaps the ladies will promote next month after all.

One thing that is always a significant sign for 2NE1 is their hairstyles. As fans know, the evolution of 2NE1 always signals a new phase in their career, and recently, it has been revealed that Dara and Minzy have transformed once again.

According to YGLadies, 2NE1 made an appearance at the Vogue Fashion Night Out in Seoul, and fans immediately spotted Dara's new blond/pink hair, and Minzy's dark red tints in her hair.

Although 2NE1 only appeared as celebrities and performed their old singles like "Do You Love Me," fans are theorizing that the hairstyles could suggest the ladies are gearing up to appear on stage again with new music.

Another cute photo of 2NE1 has also been uploaded onto their official Instagram page with the caption, "Girlsgirlsgirls."
