The "Saturday Night Live" schedule reveals that a new episode will not air this Saturday, Nov. 30, due to the Thanksgiving weekend schedule on NBC. Instead, the next new episode on the "Saturday Night Live" season 39 schedule is set for December 7, starring host Paul Rudd and musical guest One Direction.

According to TODAY, the next new "Saturday Night Live" episode airs Dec. 7 on NBC. Paul Rudd will host episode 9 of season 39, while One Direction will perform.

Meanwhile, "Saturday Night Live" recently announced on their Twitter account the December schedule of "Saturday Night Live" hosts, and we're very excited for the next couple of Saturdays!

The December schedule of hosts and musical guests for "Saturday Night Live" includes: "Get ready! Dec 7: Paul Rudd/@onedirection; Dec 14: John Goodman/@KingsOfLeon; Dec 21:@jimmyfallon/@jtimberlake!#SNL #CantWait," the "SNL" official Twitter account announced.

This will be the second time hosting "SNL" for "Anchorman 2" star Paul Rudd as well as for One Direction. Rudd last appeared on "Saturday Night Live" in 2010, hosting with musical guest Paul McCartney, Entertainment Weekly reports. One Direction first appeared on "SNL" in 2012. Their next album, "Midnight Memories," drops Nov. 25.

On Dec. 14, John Goodman will host "SNL." This will be Goodman's 13th time hosting the show, though he hasn't appeared on "SNL" since 2001, Entertainment Weekly reports. Musical guest Kings of Leon will make their third "Saturday Night Live" appearance.

But fans are probably most looking forward to Dec. 21′s special Christmas episode, which will feature host Jimmy Fallon and musical guest Justin Timberlake. Fallon was a former "SNL" cast member and currently hosts NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon." He is set to take over "The Tonight Show" on Feb. 17.

Both Timberlake and Fallon have won the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for hosting "SNL" in the past, Entertainment Weekly reports.
