Five Reasons U.S. Audiences Should See U-KISS

Audiences in the United States will have an opportunity to see the male group U-KISS during three concerts in the cities of New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. U-KISS is the first K-Pop act to be announced for the 2014 season in America, which will definitely be an interesting one. The group will follow in the foot steps of acts such as 2AM, INFINITE, and KCON 2013 performers to make their way to the United States.

U-KISS will kick off their United States performances in New York City on January 9th at the Best Buy Theater, followed by San Francisco's Warfield Theater on January 11th. The U.S. tour will end on January 14th in Los Angeles at the Club Nokia Theater.

If you are thinking about going to see U-KISS, here are five reasons why you should definitely consider seeing the show.

1. General Admission tickets are getting ready to go on sale.

While early entry VIP tickets sold out in five minutes, earlier this week, general admission tickets for U-KISS will go on sale on December 6th at 4PM local time. This is the six member group's first U.S. tour, so their fans will definitely make a strong showing. There is still an opportunity to grab prime seats for the performances.

2. U-KISS has released eight mini albums and three full length albums.

With an extensive music catalog, U-KISS will have lots of material to perform. Most recently, the group released the Korean full length album Collage, which was followed by the Japanese album Inside of Me.  In October 2013, U-KISS released their eighth mini album, Moments.

3. The group performed alongside American artists The Backstreet Boys.

During the Formula 1 which was held during March 2013 in Malaysia, U-KISS had the opportunity to perform within the same event as one of the quintessential boy bands, The Backstreet Boys. The group expressed their excitement to participate in an event that included such legendary acts.

4. Member AJ Attended New York City's Columbia University.

While most K-Pop concerts seem to begin on the West Coast, U-KISS has shown the Big Apple major love by kicking off their engagements in the United States with their show at the Best Buy Theater on January 9th. U-KISS member AJ was admitted to the prestigious college, Columbia University in 2011, which means he is probably well acquainted with Manhattan. Fans can definitely expect random sitings of the group while they are in town.

5. Mnet America will be filming the concerts for an upcoming episode of 'Headliners'.

Mnet will be filming footage of the concerts and various aspects of the United States appearances of U-Kiss for Mnet America's series Headliners. Headliners focuses on major acts in Korean entertainment and has provided a focus on luminaries such as Big Bang, Aziatix, and PSY. Audience members who enjoy receiving some of spotlight can look forward to watching out for their faces in the future broadcast.
