VIXX took their 1st ever win on a music program on the December 6th episode of KBS 2TV's "Music Bank." VIXX is sweeping the album charts.

VIXX took the number 1 spot on daily, weekly, and monthly charts with their 1st album Voodoo, which was released on November 25th. This feat is even more amazing upon closer examination of the charts. They were on the daily charts from November 26th to December 9th for a total of 10 days in the 2 week period. They were on the weekly charts for the week of the December 2nd and the 9th. They even took the #1 spot on the monthly chart for November.

Their steadily rising album sales apply not only to the current album, but to their previous albums as well. Their 3rd single "On and On," which was released in January, and their 1st mini album Hyde, which was released in June, as well as their repackage album Jekyll did exceptionally well in the annual album sales ranking on Hanteo Awards. Unlike many other 2-year groups, VIXX even rose to number 8 on Hanteo Awards for artists.

VIXX's pop art vampire backward masking concept was noteworthy. Over 10,000 people attended their 1st album showcase, which was held on November 17th. Preceding that, VIXX met with their overseas fans in 5 different countries in 10 different global showcases.

Their growing popularity was confirmed as they took the number 1 spot on a worldwide music program. For the first time in 18 months since their debut, they were crowned the winners of KBS 2TV's "Music Bank" on December 6th and proved that they are the new emerging trend. What's more even amazing is that they won against competitions including star artists such as 2NE1 and Hyolyn.

An agency rep commented, "It seems as if their unique attempt at a unifying concept in song, lyric, photo, music video, and performance really set them apart from other teams. We won't cease to challenge ourselves to new attempts and trends."

VIXX members turn into voodoo dolls for their song "Voodoo," and is a sad story of how the members would even go as far as sacrificing themselves in order to help cultivate someone else's love.
