The group Boys Republic was named as representative of the Korean Federation of Youth in 2014.

On December 12th, the Korean Federation of Youth chose representatives for 2014, and held an appointment ceremony.

The federation explained their reasoning behind choosing Boys Republic as a representative. They said, "Boys Republic's lively activities in Korea and their bright and enthusiastic image is in accord with the Federation's activities and intentions to help youths realize and pursue their dreams."

The Youth Federation was established to cultivate a future generation of youth that is disciplined and healthy in both mind and body. Previous representatives of the organization include stars such as SHINee, SISTAR, and AJAX.

Boys Republic will both participate in and promote events for youth development activities with groups that are conducted both by schools and other youth training facilities.
