"Vampire Diaries" season 5 will be graced with the presence of Tyler Lockwood, played by Michael Trevino, according to new spoiler photos posted on Instagram and Twitter of Tyler on the set of Mystic Falls. Check out the photos above!

According to these photos, spoilers reveal that "Vampire Diaries" season 5 will see the return of Tyler Lockwood to Mystic Falls.

Steven R. McQueen, who plays Jeremy Gilbert, recently posted a photo on his Twitter of Michael Trevino.

"Getting some reading in @Michael_Trevino," Steven tweeted.

The photo shows Michael reading a book on set, in a place that looks very much like Mystic Falls.

Rick Cosnett, who plays Dr. Wes Maxfield on "Vampire Diaries" season 5, further reinforced the spoiler that Tyler is returning, when he posted a photo on Instagram with Michael in the background.

"Feeling the love @CandiceAccola @iansomerhalder So great to work with u - u genius mofos #photobomb @Michael_Trevino," Rick Cosnett tweeted.

The photo features Rick with Candice Accola (Caroline Forbes) and Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore). In the background, someone appears to be photo-bombing the picture - a person is jumping in the background, and only shows up as a blur.

But given by the Instagram tag, Wetpaint speculates that the blur is none other than Michael Trevino.

What could Tyler's return to Mystic Falls mean for our favorite cast?

Perhaps Tyler will rekindle his relationship with Caroline, or maybe they'll finally get some closure on their tumultuous relationship. Perhaps Tyler will come along with Klaus, who is also returning to "The Vampire Diaries," as revealed by previous spoilers.
