K-Pop Crossover [VIDEO]: Billboard Names 2013's Hottest KPop Songs in the U.S.; PSY, Girls' Generation, 2NE1 Share Top Charts With Miley Cyrus, Eminem and Rihanna; Is Kpop Taking Over America?

K-Pop Crossover: It's the end of the year and everyone is making their lists and checking them twice. Billboard is always making lists. It is the magazine of record and of records. According to Billboard, Kpop artists like PSY and Girls' Generation are battling it out on American charts with Miley Cyrus and Eminem. Justin Bieber is finding himself against 2NE1. Is Kpop taking over America?

Billboard singled out Kpop artists like BIGBANG in the singles' charts in a recent feature. Features usually reserved for major stars like Rihanna and trends like twerking. Billboard now is giving that space to Kop stars like CL and trends like Gangnam Style.

2013's Biggest-Selling K-Pop songs in America was topped by PSY and 2NE1. The magazine says a lot of the songs felt the surge of big awards, like Girls' Generation and their huge win at the YouTube Music Video Awards.

PSY had the top-selling K-pop track with "Gangnam Style." That song hit worldwide last year and showed no signs of slowing 2013. "Gangnam Style," also landed at No. 55 on Billboard's year-end Hot 100 chart. It hit No. 47 on 2012's year-end chart. PSY's 2013 single "Gentleman," hit the top-5 hit on the Hot 100. "Gentleman" is the second-largest-selling K-pop track of 2013. "Gangnam Style," also landed at No. 55 on Billboard's year-end Hot 100 chart. It hit No. 47 on 2012's year-end chart. The eighth-biggest Kpop track was PSY's 2010 single "Right Now."

The third-biggest selling Kpop song came from BIGBANG. The Kpop boy band put out "Fantastic Baby" in 2012, but it caught on with American in 2013. G-Dragon, who raps and sings with BIGBANG, collaborated with major American stars  this year like Missy Elliott, Sky Ferreira and Diplo on his solo album "Coup D'Etat," which hit No. 182 on the Billboard 200 earlier this year.

It was a big year for Girls' Generation's "I Got a Boy." The song hit the charts running and nabbed the the Video of the Year Award at the premiere YouTube Music Awards and kept on going. And a Girls' Generation sp then it bit the charts running.  While the nine-member girl group is popular on its own -- a GG splinter group TTS (also known as Taetiseo) still holds the record as  highest charting K-Pop act on the Billboard 200 with their EP "Twinkle."

Rounding out the Top 5 is EXO'S "Growl." The 12-member boy band hit the scene two years ago and went on to be the biggest-selling act in Korea in 2013. EXO's "Wolf" was the ninth biggest-selling K-pop song in America.

K-pop girl group 2NE1 came in at the No. 6 slot with the single "I Am the Best" from 2011. 2NE1 is a fiercely popular and influential band. The American band Nylon Pink has put punk twists on several of their songs, including this one. 2NE1 also proved to be versatile this year. They went reggae with "Falling in Love" and it rounded out the top 10 Kpop singles at No. 10.

2NE1's leader, CL, who raps and sings for the group, went solo with the hop-hop single "The Baddest Female" this year and came in at Number 7.
