Singer IU redeemed herself from the poor KBS drama "Pretty Boy" results with her self-written songs.

IU, who released her song "Friday" on December 21, has been rank 1 in various music charts until today, including MelOn, Mnet, Bugs, Olleh Music, Sori Bada, Naver Music, and Daum Music.

The song was written by IU herself and has a swing melody, containing lyrics about the nervous and excited heart right before a girl is about to date.

The drama watch rate went down by 3% but IU was able to redeem herself with her successful music chart results.
