Apparently he wasn't a big Boohwal fan.

Former Boohwal singer Jung Dong Ha (also sometimes spelled Chung Dong Ha) is reportedly being sued for nearly $85,000 in a used car sale gone wrong.

The lawsuit was filed on Jan. 13 in Incheon District Court, according to the online publication allkpop, after Jung allegedly sold the plaintiff Mr. Park a used car that was a lemon.

However, according to a representative for the singer, Park was just suffering from a late-breaking case of buyer's remorse.

"Jung Dong Ha sold his car and now, four or five months later, this buyer is now citing dissatisfaction and asking for a refund," Jung's rep said.

"Jung Dong Ha clearly told the buyer about the areas that the car needed work on and the price had been adjusted accordingly. This process has been documented and witnessed."

The rep added that Park is suing the former Boohwal vocalist for more money than he allegedly paid for the vehicle.

"In addition Mr. Park has sued Jung Dong Ha for $9,400 more than what he paid for the car," Jung's rep said.

"We can't see this in any way other than that the buyer is purposely trying to use Jung Dong Ha's celebrity status to his benefit by starting this lawsuit."

Depending on the seriousness of the legal ordeal, Jung is reportedly considering taking some legal action of his own.

"As of right now, we haven't received a notice from the court. Once the legal process has started, if Jung Dong Ha's image becomes tarnished in this way, we are considering taking legal action for defamation of character."

Jung left Boohwal back in January once his contract with the group's record label Boohwal Entertainment expired.

According to a spokesperson for the label, the split was amicable.

"Boohwal and Jung Dong Ha will end their eight-year journey together," the spokesperson said, back in December.

"With their final concert in Wando on Dec. 31 of last year, they agreed upon ending their eight-year walk together."

"We wish that Jung Dong Ha, who has been a beautiful wing to Boohwal, can fly even higher. As Boohwal's ninth vocalist, Jung Dong Ha will keep that honor in his heart as he joins the lineup of Boohwal's past vocalists." 

Boohwal is a four-piece South Korean rock band founded in 1985 by by lead guitarist and primary songwriter Kim Tae Won.
