'Haeundae Lovers' Kim Kang Woo's Real Charm

Many viewers are pleasantly surprised by actor Kim Kang Woo.

Kim Kang Woo is currently portraying district attorney Lee Tae Sung in "Haeundae Lovers," and the number of his fans is increasing. Though the drama's ratings put "Haeundae Lovers" in last place amongst its contenders, there are quite a few viewers who are becoming fans of Kim Kang Woo.

This is Kim Kang Woo's first attempt at comedy since his debut in 2002 in a movie called "The Coast Guard." After all his movies and dramas, Kim Kang Woo is thought to be a rather serious and more masculine actor. In this drama, which is his first project in 3 years, he attempted a drastic image change. It seems that he is determined to show us the end of slapstick. His organized hair was put into shambles and his body was hidden in trashy fashion.

As his acting began to shine, the actors around him also got more attention as a result. Jo Yeo Jeong, who faced much criticism about her accent in the beginning, is even beginning to win some praise and getting into character as the drama goes on.

On the episodes that aired on Monday and Tuesday, the two characters' romance really started to bloom. Tae Sung realized that he may be in love with her and gets closer to her.

"Haeundae Lovers" is running the course towards the end of the second part and heading into the last third of the whole series. As the romances begin to take shape and the secrets begin to get more unraveled, viewers are beginning to anticipate how it will end.
