The Past Accident Scene of Park Shin Hye Revealed "I Got 12 Stitches And My Face Was Stained"

Park Shin Hye revealed her feelings about her past accident.

In SBS "Strong Heart" aired today, Park Shin Hye came out and said, "While filming for drama 'Heartstrings,' I got into an accident. I didn't want anyone to worry so we said it wasn't a big accident, but it was actually a prety bad accident."

Park Shin Hye said, "All 4 wheels of the car came off and the passenger's seat was gone. The staff members were hospitalized for 4 months too. I was in the passenger's seat with my legs up, and as soon as I crossed my legs, we got into an accident. The glove box came to the front of me, giving all the pressure to my knees."

The pictures of the accident scene were revealed. As she had said, the accident didn't seem like a small one.

Park Shin Hye said, "The seatbelt rubbed against my neck and face, and my ear was cut. Oddly, the inside of my ear was cut. We went to the emergency room, but all specialists were in surgery and only residents were available. They asked if I wanted to get it stitched then or go to the plastic surgeon the day after since it was my face, but I just asked them to stitch it. I went back to the hospital the next day and they asked who stitched it, because the stitches were too close to each other. The cut was only 1cm long but there were 12 stitches."

Park Shin Hye said, "The reason the scar is barely noticeable now is the resident's work. I was able to go film right away. My body didn't hurt so I thought I was okay but I couldn't get up the next day. It hurt so much and I froze like a rock. I went out like that to film, and my neck didn't turn. So one of the episodes could not go out on time."

She continued, "I was so sad. I cried because I thought that was a horrible thing for the drama. There were abrasions on my face so I wasn't supposed to take off the band that makes new skin off, but I took it off to film. You can't see it well now, but there's a little coloring stain on my face. The director was looking at me through the camera, so I turned around to wipe my tears, but I guess he felt bad for me. He said that he felt like he was holding a gun against me instead of a camera."
