Zayn Malik from One Direction forgot his Twitter password on the three-year anniversary of One Direction. Today, he returned to Twitter and his fans welcomed him back to the social media site.

On July 23, Harry Styles led the One Direction boys in a celebration of three years since the band was formed by Simon Cowell on "The X Factor."

Harry simply tweeted "3," which resulted in the hashtag #3YearsOf1D to trend worldwide.

Unfortunately, Zayn Malik forgot his Twitter password on the historic day. Luckily, fellow band mate Louis Tomlinson let him borrow his account to reach out to fans.

"@zaynmalik sorry guys Ive forgot my password and just wanted to say it's been an amazing 3 years and I love all our fans ! Zayn :) xx" Zayn tweeted on Louis' account, @Louis_Tomlinson.

Louis himself tweeted: "Wow 3 years today. Really is so hard to comprehend. What an amazing world all of you amazing people have created for us. Thank you."

Today, it looks like Zayn has remembered his password or found a way into his account. He tweeted a funny picture on his account, prompting a slew of welcoming tweets from his nine million followers.
