Royal Baby Photos Of Prince George May Break President Obama Photo Twitter Record For Most Re-Tweets; Will Prince George Pictures Be Taken By Pippa Middleton?

Royal baby photos of Prince George, the newborn son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, are expected to be released in the next few days. The photos are expected to break the record for most re-tweets, which is currently held by a photo taken of President Obama just after his re-election.

The Christian Post reports that the photo of Obama, which features him hugging his wife Michelle just after his victory, has 500,000 re-tweets, but the soon-to-be released royal baby photos are expected to shatter that Twitter record.

The website reports that Prince George, now third in line to the British throne, was briefly shown off by Prince William and Kate Middleton the day after he was born, on Tuesday, July 23rd. It was a media frenzy as the royal couple left the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London after their newborn son, George Alexander Louis, was born.

However, the photographers only had a few quick glimpses of the baby. The Christian Post reports that Twitter may be used to show off new and clearer shots of Prince George as early as next week.

It has also been reported that the first public photos of the future king will not be taken by an official royal photographer, but rather by the Duchess of Cambridge's family. According to The Daily Mirror, the first authorized photos of the newborn will be taken by Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton, as well as new grandparents Michael and Carole Middleton.

It is believed that they will have the photos uploaded and released through their Kensington Palace Twitter account, The Christian Post reports.

Prince William, Kate, and Prince George have been staying at the Middleton's family home in Bucklebury, The Inquisitr reports.

According to The Christian Post, the photos of Prince George are also expected to provide a massive boost in magazine sales. The August 5 issue of People magazine, featuring Prince George on the cover, was the best-selling issue so far this year.

"There's definitely been a royal baby boom," said Mike Steele, editor in chief of Us Weekly. "Our readers love Will and Kate. They're unique among public figures because they're 100 percent likable."
