Fifty Shades Of Grey Movie Cast Rumors Continue: Cara Delevingne Lead For Anastasia Steele Role While Next Summer's Film Has No Names For Christian Grey In The Trilogy

Fifty Shades of Grey movie cast is still not anything official, just a bunch of rumors for the film that is set to be released in the summer of 2014.

As the book trilogy comes to life in theatres, fans have joined in the rumors of who will star as the cast in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. The main question is who will play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

Some of the rumored cast includes Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. E.L. James, the author of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, told OK Magazine that she isn't too keen on these choices. She said it was would be "strange" and "weird" to have them in the movie.

Actors and actresses such as Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer, and Alexis Bledel have been named as expressing an interest in acting in the film for those two roles. Other actors such as Armie Hammer and Emma Watson have denied any involvement in the film.

Katrina Bowden has expressed interest in playing the role of Anastasia's roommate, Kate Kavanagh, according to Enstarz.

Cara Delevingne was named as a potential front-runner for the part of Anastasia Steele, but Marie Claire wrote that even though she may not be playing Ana she might land a role as another character in the film, according to the ibitimes for the Universal and Focus Features film.

"Cara is a front-runner for a part. She's desperate to get the gig and has always said that she wanted to be taken seriously as an actress. [Cara] is a global icon now and a good actress as well and Sam wants her in the movie - though which part exactly hasn't been established," an insider told the magazine. "[Cara's] agent has also been talking to Kelly Marcel, the screenplay writer. And, if needs be, a strong role will be written in for her."

A recent Fifty Shades of Grey casting survey resulted in a near tie between Somerhalder and Bomer for the role of Christian Grey. Fans also voted Nina Dobrev as their top choice for Anastasia Steele, followed by Alexis Bledel, Anna Kendrick, Amanda Seyfried, Anne Hathaway, and Kristen Stewart.
